The
Vision—Our Projects:
Our vision makes us understand
that the priority is not the programs or
buildings, but the people. But we also understand
that a good building is necessary as a tool
to be a brighter light for Christ in our
community. We have thought of the building
project in terms of our vision. Because
of the limited space, we will just say that
the project is built around the five stages
of our vision. We want the building to serve
as an aid to strong outreach and to integrate
our people into ministry. We want facilities
that help us accomplish the equipping and
development of each church member. The projects
as it relates directly to Life Path’s
Vision consists in
- A general auditorium with 1200 to 1500
seating capacity,
- Multiple usage classrooms,
- Children nursery for community service,
- Dental Mission (clinic and mobile),
- General assistance (legal, medical,
counseling, school for parents, etc.).
Latest News:
As of now, the church is using the main
auditorium each Sunday. The part of the
building that collapsed is still in the
same situation, due to the expense and “red
tape” of demolition and construction
licenses. The top priorities now are to
change the auditorium roof because it has
the same water filtration problems that
it had three years ago. It is constantly
aggravated by the constant and heavy rain
we have, especially during the rainy season.
Humidity has done severe damage to the structure
and that makes it necessary to do structural
changes, too. As of now, the top priorities
in terms of construction are
- Change the auditorium roof,
- Demolition of the part that collapsed,
- Investment in building security ( a
lot of robbery in the area),
- Construction of new building and facilities.
